Roxana Necsulescu, J.D.

Roxana was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She attended the University of Toronto for her undergraduate degree, completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a double major in English and Philosophy. In 2014, she moved to Kamloops to attend law school at Thompson Rivers University. Following the completion of her J.D. degree in 2017, Roxana articled at a small full-service firm in Burnaby and was called to the bar in 2018.
Roxana has practiced primarily in Family Law since her call to the Bar and has experience representing clients in both the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. She has helped clients through various applications, trials, family management conferences, family settlement conferences, judicial case conferences, and judicial settlement conferences. She is committed to helping clients resolve matters outside of court when appropriate, and is a big proponent of consent-based resolution options such as Separation Agreements, Four-Way Settlement Meetings and Mediations.
Roxana lives in the Burke Mountain area of Coquitlam with her partner Robert. In her free time, she can be found spending time outdoors with friends and family, having a philosophical debate, or reading contemporary fiction novels. Having grown up skiing the slopes in Québec and skating the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, she is also working on recommitting to winter sports whenever possible.
